巷で話題のEclpse3.0M8ですが、M7までの静かさとうって変わってネットの反応の様子が違います。やっぱり見た目変えないと変わった感じがしないという、ミもフタもない話ですが。。。
ダウンロード・インストールはまだしてませんが、ちょっとリリースノートを眺めていて気になったのは、

Add templates to your own editor

Templates can now be added with little effort to any existing editor. The org.eclipse.ui.examples.javaeditor project contains an example editor that shows how to add templates to a very simple XML editor.
Also, the new org.eclipse.ui.editors.templates extension point allows plug-ins to contribute templates and variable resolvers to any defined template context type.

Seasar2の設定XMLエディタプラグイン、簡単に作れそう。期末雑務終わっても誰も作ってなかったら作ってみましょう（ちょっと他力）。と思ったが、そういう機能じゃないのかな？リリースノートだけではどうにでもとれる。

あとよさそうなのは地味ですが、Refactorings update references in JavadocsとUser-defined libraries。後で入れてみようっと。
